3 for 3. Smoked the trip planning tests today so it's official. I am now a tanker yanker. They already had a load for me but I told them I was heading home for a few days. It's been a long 30 days and needed some home time before jumping in feet first.

I see tanker SNI guys all the time, but I also haul tankers, so I guess it makes more sense.

I considered SNI IC tank division, but the math totally gave me a headache. SNI advertises up to $200,000/yr, but only pays like $1.05/mile and as far as I know does charge customers accessory charges so.............. How does that math add up?

In addition to the above, I certainly do not want some DBL telling me what to do and where to go. If the choice board was actually up I might consider it..... AFTER I saw a screen shot of numerous load examples.

DBL's don't tell us where to go, a computer tells us where to go...sure if you don't go where the computer says to go, then of course the DBL is going to tell you where to go (it's a joke man...) My main reason for staying with Schneider at the moment, is the people, maybe it is the same across the tanker industry, but the people, DBL's and other drivers are decent folks always willing to lend a hand, help solve problems and what not....as I'm a company driver you may say I drank the koolaide, however this isn't my first gig in life and understand it is about the people you work with that make life enjoyable. Money, it comes when u are patient, not directed at u ChiJohn, but any new drivers or potential drivers looking at Schneider...

I have a buddy who was on SNI choice van and went o/o with Dana pulling tankers. He loves it. He loves tankers period after doing van. If SNI had choice for tankers i would seriously consider it.
