I've noticed KBR and Fluor say they require 3 yrs experience ...is that firm or will they consider someone with almost 2 yrs?

I guess the pickings are slim on truckers forums. This one does tend to be on the negative side, I agree with you there. But at least there are guys here that have been doing it for decade(s)str8t10 Thanks this. -
If it were me, I would prefer someone to tell me I'm going to eat ....feces rather than get through a thin layer of sugar to get severely disappointed when I get to the .....feces. -
I pull tanks, and to net $1500, I have to gross $2500. My company would deduct $35 for health insurance and then they'd take about $75 for the minimum 401K, the rest is taxes. So I'd have to find a company driving job that pays $130K per year. To make that kind of money, that likely means driving 11 hours everyday, reset, and repeat for a whole year with no days at home. I'll just take the $1K net and be happy.

I make $2450 per week salary plus extras for time/ mileage over what my pay is based on. Paid for 7 days even though I usually have a day or two off per week...sometimes more. Stay in hotels every night too. There are high paying driving jobs out there but they aren't usually the typical freight hauling jobs but a niche market or something specialized.
