    no the worse part is it turned out to be true. In the closed thread some folks who claimed to be owed money were trashed, turns out they were telling the truth. Some folks owe them apologies.

    No one sets out to do this, but when it happens, there has been mistakes made. Bill, sometimes here basically said he had reinvented the wheel, said many had simply bought jobs, he often seemed arrogant in many ways,,I guess. Its only a natural reaction for some to crow. Someone always gets left holding the bag, and its empty, sad situation.

    that's unfortunate, i deal with customers who pay late all too often. i have always managed to collect however. i hope you get paid.

    speaking of witch reminds me i need to make some collection calls on some invoices that are 30 days late. ugh

    When you say 30 out...Im assuming your at 60dtp.?

    Regular customer my standard billling is 45 days...The Brokers 30..

    If a broker is late by 5 days.....I start the calling/threats and comestables
    My customers? 60 out then I'll get hasty....

    yeah 60 days total. not brokered. this particular customer has a bit of a history of lets just say paying when they feel like it but iv occasionally hauled loads for them for years and they do always eventually pay. but with there history i only haul for them if it pays really well and even then i wont do many loads for them in a short period of time so it wont hurt as bad when they don't pay on time. i bill on 30 day invoice on standard. definitely time to start putting a little pressure on them. frequency of my calls increase the longer past due the payment is.

    had one customer took over 6 months to pay me, by the end of it was calling twice per day. i know some other owner ops that never collected there money i did.

    Especially unfortunate that this forum has members who continually hype a company having never worked with/ or for said company.

    @mp4694330 marek I hope this situation is resolved: you've struck me as a standup guy in our convos outside of here.

    Nothing worse than doing the work and then not getting the payment.
    Makes a man get upset.
