    HeavyD,
I have an 08 international prostar that doesn't have an air suspension dump valve but it do have an sliding fifth wheel that doesn't need sliding. How do I convert the sliding fifth wheel air line to an air suspension dump valve while still using the sliding fifth wheel solenoid and switch in the dashboard in the cab. I recently purchased an leveling valve for the air suspension from the dealer to assist with the dumping of the air.

Just replumb the air line from the 5th wheel slider to the dump port on the leveling valve. Never done this conversion before, but should work. When you toggle the slider switch, the suspension should dump instead of the slider unlocking.

If you have blank cavities in the air solenoid pack, (this is where air horn solenoid is, next to the transmission.) you could install a factory set up. Wiring to control the pack would already be there and if you have an empty switch location you can add the suspension dump rocker in there and program it no problem. Then you just need to run an air line to the solenoids, (International uses two air solenoids), from the leveling valve dump or pilot port. This will involve the dealer for programming and parts. I think that would be the easiest as you don't have to drill holes and run air or electrical lines through your firewall or dash.

Heavy ... my dump susp light flashing pdl and horn works fine I did a cold boot someone said it could be the actual switch as far as troubleshooting should I start at the solenoid pack or the switch

Solenoid pack first. The actual switch in the dash rarely fails.
