There is a difference between a merger and getting bought out. . and financial problems are rarely unforseen. They are a byproduct of actions and decisions.

So did Max trans buy them out? And yes I understand that they knew money issues were arising, now. I was simply stating what went through My mind when the financial issues we're disputed publicly. I doudt that the owners set out to screw the drivers in the beginning.

It's not really any of My business, but it is interesting to watch.

Nothing was wrong with the tone.
It wasnt "tone" why credit wasn't given to lltransport in that other thread. It wasn't what was said or how it was said.
It was about WHO things were being said about.
If the complaint had been about swift or CRE or prime or werner or whitevolvosfromchicagolanddrivenbysweatpantsandflipflops ,many who didn't "give much credit" to lltransport would not have had a problem believing him,and posting in support of him.

Western flyer and lltransport Thank this.

Well it appears BigBadBill is now BigBadBust. Lots of crickets from NoCoCraig too. Hope this hasn't turned him into NoMoCraig. Would like to hear his comments on this.

But seriously though, If I were owed money by the pre- rebranded F2F, I would be watching for a bankruptcy filing. Just in case there is any money left over after the secured creditors are paid, you might be able to get your money through the court if you get your name on the list. You'll be behind the secured parties, but it's worth trying I guess. Good luck to you I hope it works out but I am afraid it won't. :(

I am still here. I really don't have a lot to say in this thread as I have not had the same experience. I knew when F2F fell behind on our pay that staying was huge risk and that them being able to pull out of the death spiral was against the odds. Anne and I talked about it (a lot) and decided to stick it out. We did, privately, set a limit on how deep they could get into us and luckily it never surpassed that amount. F2F is current with us and I do know that all current drivers are up to date on pay. I have no knowledge or information on what Chris and Marek are going through but it obviously sucks. I really like Chris but I thought the way he quit was unfortunate and emotionally driven. Again, I have no idea what happened between Chris and Bill/Lauren so I am not criticizing.

As to MaxTrans, we are very happy so far with the changes. Time will tell but the main concern we had was that self dispatch and self determination were not going away and they have not. The office was a disorganized mess and they are still getting everything straightened out but it seems they are almost there.

Bottom line, we are running with F2F, going were we want, when we want, making money and getting paid. We intend to stay here.

I met Roxy on that frames project - she was a little irritating but once you got used to her manner she was ok. Lot of helpful info on trucks and the industry. Always caused heat in FB groups - hilarious to read.

The whole transgender thing freaked a lot of drivers out, I'd been exposed to it before so it didn't phase me.

I think she was selling truck and tools at the start of this year and retiring.
