LOL can pull up to 80k... HA HA HA some of our setups are 80k empty.... LOL

 

There is nat gas fuel availible in Searcy, 24/7 lock it on and fuel it. It would be a good base and give our gas rigs something to drill for.

Im somewhat encouraged by the specs offered by the Nikola. It would be useful if you can get 1200 miles out of it. There are certain routes in which it is necessary to do so.

The one thing no one has said is the battery, that will need replacing at some point years down the road. You might want to pickup a new rig for the trouble.

2000 hp is well and good. But what torque? What are you gonna put on the wheels to run say... a 8% grade and what are you gonna experience versus a extreme 20+% grade?

Finally the biggest challenge is the endurance fuel in addition to range. There are times you have to wait several days at a meat plant or some facility far from anything. Can it do it? At -45 degrees?

If anything Im gonna pick on the Nikola for being stupid stopping at just 80K. You are going to have situations where 105 to 140000 are possible. Ive done it. (Not necessarily legal or covered by permit...) But you are gonna have to beef them #### sweethearts up to do twice 80K so they don't break.
