The big problem with gasoline is the fumes. Gas itself isn't that bad in liquid form. I remember when I was young I through a lit match in a small bucket of gas that was full and it just put the match out. If it did light up it was just a flame on top. Nothing big. BUT.....If the bucket was half full then there was a small nuclear flash that went off.
I have a boat with an inboard motor on it. Before I can start it I must turn on the electric fan to blow out any fumes.
I was next to a guy at a truckstop. I happened to be up around 2am when his homemade generator in a box started up and up in flames it went. I started my truck and pulled out into the middle of the lot. Then I got my fire extinguisher, woke him up and put the fire out. And by the way, that's right. IN THAT ORDER!!!Chinatown Thanks this. -
