AC blows absolute ice when driving down the road, but when sitting idle it only blows about 60% cool which isn't enough to keep cab cool. Raised idle doesn't make any difference. Put gauge on it and shows properly charged. Any thoughts on what maybe the problem?

Not enough air thru condenser, try cleaning. Maybe too many bent fins.

Does the engine fan cycle on and off when parked with AC on?
If not it is probably the trianary switch.

Run engine fan, recirculate the air instead of fresh draw.

Surely pete has a manual fan switch and you turn it on when parked? Are the rad cac and condenser clean? I mean really clean not just looks clean and no junk in between them. Sharp truck what year is it?

One thing I just noticed was that there wasn't any dripping water after sitting for a while. cleaned out the drip hose and it was completely clogged don't now if that will make a difference or not but will try. I do leave the fan on manual when idling with the AC on. Will also run an air hose thru the rad when I get a chance. Fan does cycle when AC clutch kicks in. Thanks for the flowers it's a 2014 glider.

Cleaned the rad and all the fins real well, found out the fan wasn't kicking on after all. Won't come on manual either. Replaced the solenoid/pressure switch and still can't get the fan to kick on, it's getting power to the solenoid. Any ideas?

I'm assuming your clutch on the fan works by air pressure. I would pull the hose off at the clutch and turn the manual switch on and off to make sure there is air pressure. If there is then I would replace the clutch on the fan.

And by the way. My engine is a Detroit. I can do that test with the engine off and the key on. My engine requires air for the fan to turn on. Most turn on by a lack of air pressure. With the engine off and the key on I can do the test with the manual switch and turning the fan by hand.
