Well quit beating a dead horse! Next time do a little research before you change jobs. I'm sure if you had asked how much insurance cost before you made the move, you wouldn't be so shocked by the high insurance rate.

It seems like every time I get on here SSB's complaining about something and saying goodbye forever.

Insurance costs in this industry are high anyways because of the high risks involved. The employees are mostly sedentary, overweight, older, etc...
    That is industry wide.

I paid $150 @ month for my son and I for Health, dental, vision, long term care, disability in the oil and gas industry. The deductible was really low also.

I kinda like ssb. I don't like it when he's upset and letting everyone know but I do like him to contribute.

I don't understand how he's not getting good miles. I averaged 12 the last trimester. I wish he could to offset his medical costs and make him enough to survive.

Maybe you should speak to each and every dispatcher and tell them you really appreciate THEM (If you do.) Explain to them if you offended them, (if you either meant to or didn't.)

I try to be respectful to them. Sometimes it's more difficult than others. I understand they have a stressful job and they deal with some real bone heads.

They don't always have loads that are a banana split with a cherry on top! Sometimes the loads really stink. There's nothing they can do about that stinky load. You just have to use it to get to the banana split!

I've had times when I ran my butt off and not been able to reset. I've had times when I ran my butt off and set every weekend on a reset (the month I did 15k MI, ) and I've also had times that were slow and I had multiple resets per week.

I take what they offer me. If it's Ashley and she offers me multiple loads, I say “Whatever you need me to do Ashley, I will do it. Thanks and I appreciate you!"

They're people also. They have ups and downs. They deal with their own personal problems. They don't need to deal with ours but sometimes they have to.

We let them know when we're not happy with them. Let them know that you appreciate them also!

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black...beating a dead horse you say? That is exactly what you are doing as well. I have responded to that kind of statement many times, perhaps you missed it or maybe my post was too verbose, loquacious, or garrulous...those words too big for you...how about chatty or talkative. I will put it in simple words...like I said in the other posts - I DID CHECK ON INSURANCE COSTS.

Now before you ask the next obvious question.. (usually it is "why did I come here to work then?")...the simple answer is, I was lead to believe I would be averaging much higher miles than I am, so the extra cost would be offset.

And before you ask the next question, here are some answers, feel free to use them at random. Yes, I have tried that. Doing that didn't resolve the issue. Yep, tried that too. Nope, that didn't help either.

Now, if that didn't get the message across, I could be more arrogant and condecending if it would help.

As soon as my wife's medical needs are met for the foreseeable future, you won't have to hear any more from me about leaving.

If you don't like what I post, ignore me! It's not a hard procedure to perform.
