    ROFLMAO! "Plastic gears....." An old joke when someone would grind the gears, "ah, don't worry about it, they're gonna be makin' 'em out of plastic next year...." This was usually followed by some other smart arse remark, such as "grind me a few pounds while you're at it....":D

    My last four cars over the past eighteen years have all been sticks. Going from my '09 Suzuki SX4 to a '16 Ford Fiesta ST took some getting used to. The Suzuki was nice and easy and away we go, the ST takes a bit more finesse from first but from there on out it's off to the races.

    Yeah , it takes some time getting used to going back to stick shift. I learned Ina manual but recently with my new car I had the same problem stalling a few times, especially on upgrades. I felt so stupid
