Have it hauled $3.00 a mile, or take you chance with a hired driver, time you get him legal, pay expenses and waste several weeks you are not saving any money.

For what its worth ,
Agree with above post ~
Theres no way id let a total stranger drive my car across town let alone drive a five figure ( or more ) trk hundreds of miles.
To much could go wrong . -
I know a guy might be able to bring it back here to ct for cheap. Pm me I'll send you the phone number.
-
Not sure what it costs but some truck rental places can arrange for a fully insured driver to run your truck back for you if the truck is legal and it fits their plans. Just another possibility.
-
I'd Be willing to drive it back for you to help out.....If you can get me to GA I can get the truck to Conn. and have my family pick me up from there
-
If you want to find someone here you need to provide the details. Specifically pick up and drop off location. Any preferred route, time frame, can the driver sleep in the truck or will they be staying in a motel if need be,smoker or non smoker, experience level, how is fuel going to be paid for, cash or prepaid card etc. And most importantly pay. I've done this before and I usually get paid half up front and the rest on delivery. Motel and meals if needed, paid for by customer. And fuel paid for with a prepaid debit or credit card.

Your truck?
Get yourself down there and collect it. That way you know it's done right the first time ...
I hate to be heavy here but you bought something and you really want it right? Get it home. You will have to pay airfare anyway. Do fly down there and get it.Speed_Drums Thanks this. -
Don't you have to pay for other stuff on top of paying a driver? Like tags, insurance, ifta, permits etc.... be cheaper to have it hauled in my opinion.
-
Fly one of your drivers there for $200-300 one way, find a trailer to move, get it loaded and send him where you need that truck to go.
tallmon Thanks this. -
