Anyways, do you have a switch that looks like the picture above on your air dryer?

On my 07, it was low on freon, wasn't cooling properly, stopped at a auto parts store and got one of those DIY deals and added some, compressor never shut off, wasn't cooling properly either. Bled some off, and it cycled normally and cooled like it was supposed to. Is it possible you have a little to much in the system?

What is the highest high side pressure your seeing?

Something isn't adding up. That thermostatic switch in the evap core should open at just above freezing to prevent the issue you're having. Starting to wonder if what an above poster mentioned is correct that the thermostatic switch has been bypassed. Or possibly the 2 wires to the switch have shorted together somewhere. Easiest way to test that I would think would be to disconnect your thermostatic switch and see if your A/C operates. If it comes on with it unhooked, its been bypassed.
