How can a publicly traded company have such a horrible record related to inexperienced drivers? As a shareholder I would expect management to control these losses by increasing hiring standards.
Wouldn't it be better to increase cost related to labor then increased cost related to losses?

How much more needs to be said before you can comprehend it's Swifts fault?

 

it has nothing to do with hiring standards. it the training program. most likely the driver didn't prepare to stop for the light while coming down the hill. and when it turned red. it was simply too late. too heavy,too steep, failed to use caution ahead of time.

Love the cheap insults. Don't do it again. Can you show me where Swift was stated to be at fault? If you drive a truck you should know the majority of the wrecks have the same heading...semi hits vehicles.

How do you know the cars wasn't at fault? How do you know a car didn't cut him off and then stop. nah that NEVER happens. And how do you know that stuff wasn't torn up by the driver trying to avoid the cars and possibly killing somebody? Looking at the cars I don't see any sign that he plowed over them, but the tractor sure is torn up. Like he took a lot of damage hitting other things.

My reasoning sounds pretty good.
