I've been to that in n out in la mirada, I live 20 minutes away from there. That in n out like all others has the potatoe cutting machine in plain view. You can clearly see the worker stick the potatoe in, press the lever and cut potatoes come out the other end.

I personally don't like in n out fries as they're very bland since they use real fries and only season them with a little salt.

I prefer the artery clogging lard mcdonalds use to use, yum

    Lol.

After the battered or rice flour coated, pre-seasoned, par-fried fries that most restaurants serve, you kinda have to redevelop a taste for the fresh ones. Lots of salt and cider vinegar, just like the county fair.

Same here, i dont understand people that lose their minds over this joint. I ate at the one in CA. My used to be boss said, this is where it all started. It was the very first in n out burger. It was simple burger with french fries, nothing to special.

    1) Wow, that would make me re-consider getting back into foodservice.

    2) To go a little off topic i think farmerbros. or is it farmerboys? is OK. i usually eat there on the rare occasions i go to ontario or pomona.

    3) Speaking of fries, if any of you west coasters make it over here to the east coast, try Nathan's fries. i personally think they are the best fast food fries. Not that i eat fries that much these days.

A lot of there loads are actually lift gate, there fleet is all fancy Peterbuilts like that the place does not franchise and has fairly low employee overturn. That's defiantly not your typical corporate truck fleet I'll tell you that right now.

I went to an in n out in vegas two days ago, I thought it was pretty good, I would rank it 3.5 out of 5.. simple menu but well executed, friendly service, and their employees are fairly compensated. They're better than all the mega chains (mcd,bk,wendys, hardees) and imo they're in the upper echelon of "purist" burger chains.. shake shack has i.n.o. beat, but theyre better than 5 guys, fat burger, and whattaburger IMO but that's a very subjective opinion.

As far as trucking, I have no idea LOL

I keep meaning to stop in at a Whataburger next time I'm in TX. Never tried In and Out, but I imagine it's a lot like Five Guys??
