At the end of the lease can you buy the truck? I really want to get a start on someday owning a truck company...not big but maybe like a 10-20 truck fleet.

Yes, at the end of the lease you have that option.

    Liedl913 Thanks this.

You actually have the option to buy the truck half way through your lease with no prepayment penalty. The only thing you lose is any TRAC match money, not the down payment...

They adjust the buyout number accordingly...

I'm looking at doing this rather than wait six more weeks....

    I'll save $2000.....

    Roll on...

As has been stated you can buy it at the end for the agreed upon trac price or earlier with adjustments considered. I'm in my third year of an SFI lease and if the truck keeps running like it has I'm planning on buying mine. It's a 2015 (purchased in 2014) FL, standard specs but with the diesel tri-pak. Right at 300k miles and not a CEL yet. I baby it so crossing my fingers. Be really, really nice not to have a truck payment....

Additional home time would absolutely be fine with me. But again so would more income when I choose to run hard. Then again it would be so nice to have the leeway to sit an extra day waiting for a better load and not really worry about it all that much. So I guess all the above ...

Have you had to service the DPF/after treatment system yet?

Low rate from a bank makes up that much difference over 6 weeks?
