@Mike2633 is the most thorough guy I've never met. Lol. I mean that as a high compliment, Mike. Truly.

Hm.
You Pups stand up to my "Big 40's and now 53's" in reefer service.
Thank you kindly for the postings. I don't know if you have the balls to try a triple. Like on that 80? Or the Turnpike doubles such as on the NY Thruway?
Im not trying to troll... if you have that much freight to roll having a few drivers do triples or doubles might do it Or maybe even B train the stuff. It's a detriot thing but you think B trains will be legal in other places too right? -
As long as your not dwelling on things and letting stupid stuff ruin your day you can cut through pretty quickly. I remember reading a couple years ago about a Sysco driver who was one of the fastest at the warehouse and the biggest thing he did differently was when he came to a bad pallet he just moved the stuff and grabbed what he needed. He did stand there for a minute and go "Who would build this like this?"
You guys at Supervalue do not ever have to really readjust or break down pallets and build the occasional one because something got mixed in or something collapsed? -
I would do triples or turn pike doubles however I have to get some more doubles experience I'm waiting for a transit spot to open up one hasn't yet, but when it does I'll apply.x1Heavy Thanks this. -
It goes without saying, if you do gain a turnpike doubles slot... you reserve that for your top, top, top driver. Top dawg. Who is calm, cool and collected even in the worst of winter. Unflappable. Cars from out of town behave strangely around turnpike doubles because they are not expecting two trailers. Your driver needs to be of iron will, steady nerves and no fears that cannot be managed with decision making and accurate and sound judgement. That pretty much excludes everyone and anyone under 32. You be dealing with a big boy with them there doubles. And weights to match.
Good luck!Mike2633 Thanks this.
