Hey, I CAN do it, I just CHOOSE not to. I don't like working with electricity. As many times as I've used jumper cables, I still get nervous I'm gonna electrocute myself with those (I know, you have to touch both connections at once blah blah blah, I'm still a chicken).

Seriously though, I won't have to run anything into the truck? That was my concern, trying to run wires up through the dash and out to the back.

    CJndaTruck Thanks this.

Well hell, if it's that easy, I may go buy a light bar while I'm at home too, go ahead and get both set up. My kids are in school, so I'll be doing mostly yard work anyway.

@Razorwyr if you have spare factory installed toggle switches get under the truck and look for a capped off wire. 1 for each toggle. Mine was on the passenger side frame rail near the end of the sleeper. To figure out which is which hit 1 toggle at a time and use a test light. Or just get a load to florida and I'll hook it all up for ya.

Hey Razorwyr, what is it you don't like about the T680? The truck itself, or drivetrain?

Well I talked to a Mercer recruiter today. It was a good conversation. We spent about 15 minutes talking about trucking & 30 minutes talking college football. Lol. Weirdest call I've ever made to a recruiter because I really didn't have any questions. You guys pretty much answered everything in this thread.

I'm going to fill out my my app tonight but I told him I couldn't make a switch till my current lease is up at the end of October. Because of personal things planned in November it may be December before I can do anything. We'll see.

I look forward to drinking a different flavor of kool-aid.

I don't remember what that was in reference to specifically, but I was being a ########, I remember that much. I have a T680, and I don't really dislike it per se, I just have little things that I wish were different.

...... oh nvm, I just went back to that post. Yeah, that was about someone wanting to adjust headlights, on the T680 they are fix mounted to the hood and can't be adjusted.

Yeah, they are factory installed, but they are the blank caps, there isn't an actual switch currently in them. I'll have to pick up a couple of switches, but I never thought to look for the wires to already be ran. I just assumed they didn't currently go to anything, why would they run the wires?
