Yeah i live in the Philly burbs it would be tough to find a place to park my truck around here. There are plenty of shopping centers but they don't allow overnight parking. The company i want to start with has a drop yard about 40 mins from me i will park there.

I park at a truck stop 15 min from home. Its the only one within 80 miles of my house. $15 per 24/ hr.
Oh well. -
The camera in your face is a killer. I wont accept that unless they had a pretty dispatcher with a camera facing HER for me to watch too. Fair's fair. If they cannot communicate to your messages in a timely manner, then they are not communicating. Find another outfit.
As far as parking. Everyone else beat me to the good tips. The entry into back door with bag of clothes and exit the front is a very good one. You would be surprised how much the bad elemet survilllence the drivers coming and going for possible criminal gain.
Don't stress about the qualcomm. No one is going to mess with it. They are not that stupid.
Park it and forget it. If you are off duty, if I remember correct, off duty at home means you are relieved of all responsibility of that rig. -
Big Don Thanks this.

It's just been too long since I've done it, and don't remember how to do it. There used to be a FAQ page on the forum, and perhaps there still is. -

I know a dude that use to play with himself on break and sit in front of the camera naked at various times on his 10 hr break...they consulted him and he told them, hey I'm on my break I do whatever the hell I want. So they conceded and took the camera out of his truck...that was his goal from my understanding....lol

I totally understand all the advantages of being able to bring your truck to your home or pretty close when you're off but I can't help but wonder......
If you are driving for a company and the truck is always running or at your house when exactly are they looking after maintenance on it? Just a thought.
