Know the law and know your rights
When did you find out your last paycheck will withold expenses for the charges you agreed upon when you signed all those forms of consent during orientation?
By signing a binding agreement to pay the company for non compliance of the policy set forth in the terms of your employment, you are liable under the provisions granted by the State Agency which authorizes the legal witholding of losses from employee's due to negligence.
Most drivers are in too much a hurry to read all the mumbo jumbo these freight handlers include to participate as an agent for the Company. As a driver for the company you are required to read and understand the rights and responsibility that come with being an employee, failure to adhear or comply may cost a fee or other form of restitution in the event of breach of contract.
Ignorance is no excuse for failing to read the rules.
Now, if they didn't include this information as to the reasons you had charges backed out your pay, you are well within your citizen right to sue them in the jurisdiction (state) where the employer filed its articles of incorporation. Meaning you must travel or hire an attorney to petition the small claims court for no more than the amount withheld from your check. There can be no punitive damages awarded on small claims.

Because he said so, isn't that reason enough?

How come the OP couldn't provide us with the details, dustyroad gave more info than the OP what a bummer lol
G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
Tell us what happened to you and give us the details that give your claim substance. If you just sit here and argue instead of doing that then the only thing you're going to accomplish is annoying other people. Maybe you should have taken your own advice and held off on posting, and just let another (ex?) TWT driver come by and tell us his story.TB John Thanks this. -

Point, point, point, blame, blame, blame AND no substance to it! Jesus!
This coming from a guy that works for a less than reputable mega (it has a reputation...), makes Jack-#### and can't wait for the hiring-year to be up.
Deal, or elaborate.
If you can't be eloquent / elaborate there's really no time here for your crying. Au contraire to the type, there aren't many retarded truckers here.
I haven't, but I'm sure some of these guys have 'heard it all'... and you're offering nothing new but the point and blame BS, without a thing backing it.
So what now?Crude Truckin', G13Tomcat, TB John and 1 other person Thank this.
