No no no, never under $1.50

For 2 loads escorts, bucket trucks and some police cost over $7000 a day,

Okay, never say never and all that.... I'm just not comfortable with that level of risk yet. And by "yet", I mean when I finally do get my own truck.

    Orange713 and blairandgretchen Thank this.

I read this early this morning before i started into what has turned out to be one of those days where I just should have stayed in bed. It made me smile that there are still some good quality folks in this world regardless where or how you meet them. For some reason, every time my day took a turn for the worser this post came to mind and instead of throwing in the towel I continued my march forward to the bottom. Thanks to @blairandgretchen and your pal @Old Man along with Danny for just being decent people. I needed that!

Consider that the mirrors on any truck are over 11 ft wide, anything under that is a peice of cake. The only reason you'd have to worry about it is if you are one of these guys that can't make a right turn without jumping the curb and running up on the sidewalk.

I don't think them kind of wheel holders worry much about anything that goes on behind them with their trailer lol.

Nice to see Blair making a good go of it at Landstar. It hasn't been easy street either. You're really going to be sitting nicely when the economy picks up some steam and turns around Blair.

Prime Munister Helen Clark's husband was jogging near his home in Auckland.Every day, he'd jog past a hooker standing on the same street corner. He learned to brace himself as he approached her for what was almost certain to follow. "Two hundred and fifty dollars!" she'd shout from the curb. "No! Five dollars!" He would fire back, just to shut her up. This ritual between him and the hooker became a daily occurrence. He'd run by and she'd yell, "Two hundred and Fifty dollars!" He'd yell back, "Five dollars!" One day, Helen decided that she wanted to accompany her husband on his jog. As the jogging couple neared the working woman's street corner, Mr.Clark realized she'd bark her $250 offer and Helen would wonder what he'd really been doing on all his past outings. He figured he'd better have a darn good explanation for the 'Boss'. As they jogged into the turn that would take them past the corner, he became even more apprehensive than usual. Sure enough, there was the hooker. He tried to avoid the prostitute's eyes as she watched the pair jog past. Then, from her corner, the hooker yelled, "See what you get for five bucks, you tight ba*t*rd!
