.80 isn't averaging even if you went in at 4
Your literally getting paid one way and paying to haul that.80
You seem to have gotten a little tipsy on that company/ industry koolaid that has gotten so many drivers to bring the term AVERAGING to a all time low
That is what's unfortunate.
By they way I'm never focused on one load
An example of true averaging would be
3.00 in 2.00 or 1.75 or even 1.50 out

Leaving the Northeast never pays anything, point is to go in with a load that pays a lot of money if you do go in knowing that coming out never pays anything.
Whatever if people can't understand these simple things about lanes at this point I ain't even gonna try anymore.
I'll just go back to making lots of money and leave this topic alone.Scott72, PoleCrusher and Lone Ranger 13 Thank this. -
By my calculations, he's averaging $1.73/mile.
Load 1 800 miles @ $2.10 = $1,680( I'm just guessing 800 miles.)
Load 2 500 @ $.80 = $400
Load 3 520 @ $2.05 = $1,066
Total revenue $3,146 / 1,820 miles = $1.73 mile
( Actually $1.7285)

I didnt actually book those loads because the .80 load was taken but yes you get the idea.ChicagoJohn Thanks this. -
I learned something new today leaving the northeast for zero cpm will make you more than leaving for 80 cpm
Lone Ranger 13, RootHog and freightwipper Thank this. -
Some guys seem to think your paying $.40/mile for all miles to your co-driver....... That's not how it works.RootHog, mxpx148 and freightwipper Thank this. -

I understand lanes very well it's why I stopped going to to the NE on Schneiders board years ago .
At one time you could easily bunny hop out at an actual decent rate.
Now you have to pay to haul that freight out -
500 miles for $400
Which is more folks?Opus, Lone Ranger 13, mxpx148 and 1 other person Thank this. -
