I'm thinking of waiting another year myself I want to see what the final decision will be for speed limiters in trucks that is a big game changer for me personally.

I said the same thing but I'm not going to let that stop me. Quite honestly it will depend on who's our next President. I'm not for Politics which is one of the reasons why i got in the trucking industry, but I've been told by some drivers if we have a Trump Administration than it may not follow threw again I'm not so sure how true that is but that's what some drivers have said.

Buy used for cash if possible. have yourself about 7-10k in liquid cash or credit card or line of credit after you buy the truck. Do an oil sample if possible. You will be fine! take it slow drive your truck like you have some sense. Save every dollar you possibly can until you get 10k in the bank. Pay yourself a medium salary for your weekly work and save the rest for expenses and taxes. Good Luck!

Nothing worse than trying to make big payments on some when the money is not coming in.I bought a new tow truck in 05 and had to park it when economy crashed payment was 1459.00 a month, 650 for insurance and figure 100 a day roughly for fuel.Had to remortgage house to pay truck off and its been sitting since2012 cause no one has the money to buy it out right.I would never buy a new truck again u can make payments for 2 yrs straight have one hiccup and there goes the repo man.Buy cash and if something goes wrong u still have a truck u can resell or park and go work somewhere and not have to worry about it getting repo, losing all that money u made in payments. and run your creditWhere i live they have a rotation of trucks, trls coming in the repo lot in n.j
