you either need a manual fuel pressure gauge or it can be checked with VCADS

My friend had an EGR issue... that was the root of low boost.

I was having boost issues as well. changed out the boost pressure sensor, as well as the jake break (big can on exhaust right behind turbo) and one or the other solved the problem. also had em pressure check the charge air cooler, but that was fine

Do you have any leaks at the exhaust manifold? Black streaks or any black on the ports. The turbocharger compressor outlet down pipe connection has two big o-rings that can leak, accelerate the engine and spray with soapy water and check for bubbles. Spray all the intake hoses and intake manifold and check for bubbling. Simple and easy to do. Remove both of your belts on the engine, and check for some play in the accessory drive pulley, If there's any play then the accessory drive and fuel pump are wore out. Which causes low fuel pressure. Change the fuel pressure regulator, (long banjo fitting above the front of the intake manifold). Use the fuel priming plunger and see if the fuel filter base leaks. Let us know what your results are and what you fixed.
