Not sure if same petro or not, but I'm sitting in the waiting room and mechanic said he found this in my oil pan and now wants to charge me for a new blower and vacuum pump!

Going to try to work my way up to Chicagoland when I leave out of here tomorrow. I need 8 (Correction,. I originally said 4,. meant 8 ) new drives to get me through the winter. Tried the Yoko 517's on front drives and General D660 on the rear drives. Yoko 517's were good till about 50% mark,.. then tread wear accelerated,.. chunks missing. Not happy with what I paid for them. They should have lasted longer. Got about 240k on them now.
The Generals have probably another 80k mi left in them. Was hoping to get more out of them. Will not be buying them again.
Pomps up in Joilet carries Hankook DL07 drives. I got 400k mi out of the last set of DL07's. They got hard and greasy toward the end. Thought I could do better with the Yoko and Generals. Trial and error.
Going to put the Hankooks back on both axles. I can get them for $360 a tire installed through my carriers national account. So there is another $3k I'm going to spend in the next week or two.
Thats trucking for ya. Dont get into this business with out some cash flow and the ability to maintain that cash flow.

Carnesville Georgia. Off I85,.. right by SC state line. Stay away.
I have been screwed by both,.. TA and Petro doing PM services for me. I will forgo service to avoid them both now. They will never do another service on my truck. I wouldnt trust either of them to change a wiper blade.
