Theoretically, wouldn't you be going exactly 1mph slower than the slowest truck on the highway by the end of the day? I didn't read all the posts so if someone made this point already. My bad

This morning I merged on behind a May truck, they're a #### hair slower then me, so I set the cruise 61 instead of 62, stAyed about 3/4 a mile back for 70 miles, he exited and I clicked the cruise up, but another May truck was merging on with a lot of 4 wheelers behind it. I moved left.
May got up to speed beside me, let off it a little so I could get back over, and I crawled away from her.

"But goodness gracious, Tucker! Do you realize that by losing one mile an hour for a 70 miles you lost the equivalent of TWENTY EIGHT DORITO'S!!!???"

(The gallery swoons at the horror of it all)

Sometimes, normally I try to open a gap and just hang but if I catch up again I'll pass and move on. Especially when the truck can not maintain speed over small hills.

I check traffic and try not to obstruct and when others are faster than me I tend to slow down unless the person was trash talking on the CB, then it might take awhile for them lol

I drive an ungoverned truck while pulling a trailer for a company reviled for being governed too slow, and proceed to listen to guys lose their minds on the CB when they see me merging onto the freeway way ahead of them because they are 100% SURE I'm going to hold them up by going .5mph slower than them... listen to their #####ing trail off when they can't catch me in their own governed truck. I've never heard an apology yet from a single one, either. Some of these guys are such wieners about it all on the CB.

So lets say youre getting 11 more miles a day, sayyy .40 cents a mile....you are holding up everyones day for $4.40....youre a #######....and when i see you people doing this #### im going to get right in front of you with my sprinter and make every effort to make you lose those 11 extra miles.

how about anytime you have to slow down to let someone merge when you cant get over? or do you just keep going the same speed and #### them because YOU are the only one on the road that matters

Lol lets see a bull-bar vs a Sprinter, hmmm, I'd recommend building a bridge and getting over it but it's your funeral...

OK here's the deal most not all, but most of the truckers out there do not like sprinter van drivers. So you're not really in the club and therefore yeah you might have a driver become aggressive do you with that type of behavior

Right of Way laws dictate existing traffic is not required to move over for merging traffic; it is the job of merging traffic to merge on safely.
