Anyone in Indy have the scoop if they're still hiring for Line-Haul?

I have 6 months experience driving for Coke, and I'm looking elsewhere..

I'm ready for a change, and I was talking to them last year, and I know they were looking for new drivers...

any chance that they still are in need for linehaul guys? thanks

Have you checked online? Seems we always need line haul drivers.

    Calling on @Naptown

Most other LTL's in the area seem to be hiring, definitely YRC and Holland, I know for a fact that FedEx Freight needs a couple city drivers.
Old Dominion did have an SVC Linehaul job posted online awhile ago. Not sure if it's still there but ive heard it's best to apply in person. No clue if that's true.

According to the electronic billboard in the parking lot we're hiring drivers for Indy. Doesn't say whether it's linehaul or city, but I'd bet linehaul. Have your endorsements (doubles/tripes, tanker, hazmat) before you apply. They'll still accept your application, but will put it on hold until you come back and update it. If you're interested in seeing how my application and hiring experience went, I detailed it here:

Good luck to you. I'm really satisfied with OD, and I'll recommend it to anyone that's interested in working there. Let us know how it goes.

Yea I think I'm going to give Coke until April (which will give me one full year experience) and move out from VA and start fresh in another state..

Any other facilities that run line haul?? I wouldn't even know about the Indianapolis plant if I hadn't visited there...

Line haul runs from most terminals to some degree. Choose your state and place you want to live then look at the terminal in that area.

pick your poison in indy. lots of truck driving jobs around here and every one of them has a sign hanging up that says hiring.

as far as linehaul goes i know of

    od
    conway
    ups
    fedex
    estes
    dayton freight
    holland/yrc
    pitt ohio
    saia
    dohrn

lots of choices. i think your best bet at any of them is to apply online after getting all of the aforementioned endorsements.

i believe marten and m&w have linehaul type jobs available at about 75% of the avg ltl wage, but i am not sure.

    good luck.
