The really good loads go that fast.
The longer the load has been up the cheaper/crappier it usually is.

So your running your lease truck as a solo truck with a driver in it?

So you figured out how to keep the truck, get out of driving it and dispatch it for your driver. Good job

I'm still doing team but my team driver is gonna work a few days solo before i jump back in. I'll probably dispatch the truck back to pick me up. Was just out in the truck working for 2 months, so i took a week off.
Once I'm back in the truck we can only work off the team board.

I stopped stringing loads together months back. Not going to run cheap because that's all the board offers. I just run to what I know to be a good market and let the load board games begin. What is trip planning? Lol.

Just curious how they verify solo driver and not team? Checking to see if you are logged on the qcomm?

I communicated with Schneider when I planned on getting out of the truck and when I did. I'm sure if they wanted to verify all they'd have to do is see the truck running two logs or one.

Experience and patience plays a big part in choice. If you waiting on unconfirm loads your gonna starve to death. Rates sucks, but waiting on a non confirm load sucks more.

At one point I had 12 preassignments stacked on me 7 or 8 days out. Hell at one point I was booked out 13 days into the future. Summer 2015 was the point where that became pretty much impossible to do.

When I started in June I'd book a week at a time pretty easily. Now loads don't confirm until the day of many times, or at all, so it's load to load a lot more now. Definitely harder.

Did they always have really wide appointment times for a lot of loads? I.e. 2-300 mile load with a whole day between appointment times...makes it difficult to stack 2+ loads sometimes
