I found her around 25 years ago lol. She hasn't needed a home since. Her very rare heart condition kills me though!

Most of them take the towels you dry off with and wipe everything down with it. That's about as much "cleaning" they do.

The most I'm using a truck stop shower towel for is to step on when getting out of the shower and to dry off my huaraches. Sometimes I think about it and don't even touch them...

I'll leave a dollar to five dollars depending what's in my wallet and how the shower was...how long a wait etc. If the shower porter is busting ### to get showers clean and is doing a good job, I appreciate that. But if it's one of those lazy workers where no showers are getting cleaned etc I won't leave anything.
As far as tipping other employees...very seldom do they do anything to deserve a tip. Most of the time they are standing around while long lines at registers...Just last week at two separate truck stops I go in for a morning cup of coffee and the regular coffee is out. Usually I fix a cup in my truck but the rare occasion I go in for one there is none. Seriously? Fat, lazy employees were like..oh, sorry...typical so no...they don't deserve tips.Rusty Trawler Thanks this.
