Doesn't look fun, but doesn't look impossible... To me looks like over GWB to 7c Bruckner Blvd then make a couple lefts to head south on Bruckner to Tremont, turn right then Williamsbridge Rd right again onto Eastchester. There is a 11'9" about 200 feet in front of where it looks like you turn right into the hospital delivery gate.

    Have fun!

That would be 12'9" actual, and that may actually be measured to the bottom of the gusset plate supports. 13'6" MAY clear it, but don't count on it until you watch a local go under it, or you talk to someone that knows for sure.

For example, 13'6" trucks routinely travel under the overpass on Linden Blvd. in Brooklyn marked 12'4". With a black and white regulatory sign, no less.

I am well aware of that windsmith... what I am saying is that bridge is beyond the entry gate where the receiving doors appear to be .. so he will basicly drive right up to it but not under it..

You can't count on the local truck going under it. Lots of those guys are 12'6"...

Well, thanks for the advice y'all! Turned out to be a pretty easy trip, that bridge didn't have to be driven under thankfully and the customer was easy to deal with. Ended up in bouncing between Kearney and North Bergen for the rest of the day and missing how simple the Bronx route was....

We all know to stay off of anything that says "parkway", but isn't there a low bridge on the Van Wyck?

My RM 730 always routes me to the upper level of the GWB.

Been on that one a time or two, if I remember correct thats one of those no left lane lest you trim a bit off the top. But I might be mixing it up.

Might have been on I495 or I278. I remember seeing that somewhere. Oh well this is why I have to plan it every time.

If one of our other drivers didn't tell me I'd be OK under this, I would have come to a very abrupt stop the first time I went through here. Still hold my breath a little, every time.

I honestly don't know the legalities of 53 footers in the 5 Burroughs. However there is a reason that New Jersey is full of cross docks. The only way you could get me to enter NY City or long Island was to put me up in that Truck dead.
