Thanks @Heavy Hammer that's about the weight I'm coming up with from Cats website, it has 35" pads and long undercarriage the book says about 123,000. I absolutely HATE 3 point blocking but I'll probably block it that way.

I do like and respect you JD.. But see telling your boss that he will say no way.
We can let the other guy haul it. See then that saves you the hassles of moving it. Lol

Yeah "normally" you block under the carbody a set of blocks on each end but you end up concentrating all the weight in a small area. Most trailers are rated in a certain length of the deck, my 55 for example is rated at 55 ton in half the deck length, my 60 ton beam is rated at 60 ton in 16 feet. Pictures 249.jpg This isn't the best picture but you can see the blocking under the carbody kinda behind the flags. On this excavator I'll block there and under the back of the house, but it's hard to keep the block all tight going down the road, on always seems to work loose. But it spreads the weight out a lot better, you have to shim different but that's no big deal.

I haven't been into CNRL in about 5 years. I went in as far as the 2nd gate last winter and that was it. Site access has long since expired.

Well now I'm going to Edmonton since no one seemed to confirm on delivery. No crane until tuesday... Hoping to just drop the trailer now and head home for the weekend.
