Next time you do a load that has multiple stops maybe your employer will think about the same thing you're paid to do a job why should he pay you just because you have extra stops

I don't leave tips. Wait staff get a reduced wage because they get tips. Truck stop employees don't.

That makes no sense as the driver is not paid hourly and the extra stops are extra work and so... extra pay.
Walmart employees are paid hourly, do you tip them??

Extra work? Just like all they do is simply wipe down the shower all you simply do it's back into another dock. Just like a waitress all she does is carry plates to a table. All you do is walk up to another receivers window. Extra work? After all you may not be paid by the hour but your paid by the mile why should your employer pay you just to back into another dock. Think about what you're saying

    True.
If I was paid hourly then I wouldn't expect extra pay or a tip for an extra stop.
And if I wanted tips, I'd be a bartender and not an hourly employee

I only tip if I plug the toilet in the shower room.

Honestly, they don't even clean the showers anymore at Pilot.

If you're lucky, they'll flush the toilet between showers.

Here is what I have always found to be interesting in this conversation about tipping for showers. You folks do realize that a maintenance person is responsible for a whole lot more then just cleaning a shower right? From the moment you pul into a pilot that maintenance person is taking care of you. We clean and stock all the pumps, clean and stock all bathrooms, repair pumps when idiot drivers spill fuel everywhere or drive off with a hose still in the tank. We service you at the registers and deal with any complication fueling ( yeah because it's rocket science.)

I'll also find it quite hilarious how an industry full of fat slobs suffering from diabetes talking about working hard, it just drips with irony. And worst of all you hold us accountable for stupid crap like prices? Yeah I'm chilling at corporate setting those prices right, right?

The way you treat people at these trucks stops because you're just an anti social ###### is embarrassing. Just look how you treat eachother for crying out loud.

And last but not least. You folks don't even fill out surveys on a regular basis so that poor maintenance that's sweating his arse off all day for you can't even ask his boss for a raise. You clowns will go into a shower a hundred times without anything being wrong but the second something is or we missed something because we are undermanned rushing to serve you? Quick to fill it out to complain.

All this is why none of them respect you, it's deserved.

If you go back and read this entire thread, I think you will find we are not quite all created equally. And the same people that cry about everything, cry as you dictated. The same people that are thankful for everything, are the ones that are thankful for the efforts the attendants make in a most humbling endeavor. And the latter always tip, just because it's the right thing to do.
The first group will talk and cry about doing the right things, until it comes time for them to put forth some personal effort or crack their wallet. And I'm sure you will also find a great physical disparity between group A & group B.
