No. It's actually on a small road only used by cars and a few hardwood log haulers a bit north of Fort Smith, AR. I'm not sure it's actually 17% but it's more than 10-12% easily but only about a half mile long top to bottom.

Try these Teamsters companies; maybe health care is cheap:
    Nick Strimbu Inc.
    PI&I Motor Express

    No Northeast:
    Danny Herman Trucking
    South-East Carriers
    Dodge City Express

    More miles:
    Freymiller
    Danny Herman Trucking
    Titan Transfer
    Magnum Ltd.
Nick Strimbu Inc. - reefer division

Where is your location? Put it on your profile so we know the hiring area you live in. This way other drivers can give you leads.
How much experience do you have? If you want more miles with USX probably will have to team.

1000? HAHA, you will get that eventually. Tossing LTL Trailers into eating places around the NE. Yup... NE...

The NE consumes everything the rest of the USA ships. But NE has nothing to ship west worth a ####. Not until at least PA.

    Free health? Forget it.

Perdiem? Myself and wife claimed almost 306 days away from home in 2001 to gain approx 13700 in perdieum against our 65K in gross income. The Perdiem was ours to claim not the company. If a company can claim perdiem and pay a few dollars towards it each week to drivers (Who now cannot claim it) while raking in a bunch of money on everyone once a year....

And young people do not spend money on Obamacare, they are too healthy. If you got sick out there you will stand to be out of a job if you stayed in the hospital too long. There are 50 more ready in Orientation to take your place while you lay in the hospital 3000 miles from home.

The rest of it... GOOGLE is your friend. Or these forums. You are about 100,000th person to make a noise about common issues to driving. If you cannot stand your current company, change to a different one.

Part of trucking in a lifetime is to bum around the NE a while. It's something we all have to go through unless you live like way out in Oregon hauling totem poles or something the NE does not use.
