Saw something at Wally yesterday I am going to get. It's a pressure cooker/crock pot/veggie steamer combo...will make cooking much faster, plus I could buy fresh veggies instead of frozen.

How do you clean the crockpot in the truck?

I use crockpot liners. Its a plastic bag made for just that purpose. Pull it out and throw away. Wipe crockpot down with a Clorox wipe...dry with a paper towel, Put away... Easy clean up

I wondered if those work, I'll have to buy some, planning some dry rub fajita pork chops although in a crock liquid usually works better so some experimentation may be required.
    Thanks!

I use them as well. The only thing that escapes them is some condensation unless I get too agressive stiring my chili or turning my chops as I pour on my bbq sauce.

One thing I learned long ago, if you want to keep whatever your cooking from sitting in it's own grease, I take a bunch of tin foil and roll it up like a big cigar, then bend it into a ring and put it under the liner to elevate the food above the excessive grease that drains down.

After some of the places he's reviewed on here, I think he'd be vastly disappointed with my peasant gruel. I'm a simple person when it comes to food. Some of the stuff he's pictured I would have never considered if I saw it on a menu...meat -n- 'taters, broccoli, and sweetened baby carrots are my main staples.
