Here I thought it was just me. I usually keep pretty busy cursing my ability to pick the worst lane to join every single time I fuel.

Back off, she's mine!!! The young one, I mean. At least I saw her first. I keep trying to follow her home so I know where I can surprise her with flowers or a ring, but she's elusive! She's been playing hard to get, or at least I think that's what the restraining order meant? She can hardly restrain herself! Must be it....

If the lanes are all full up I hold back far enough to be able to line up into any fuel lane that opens up first. Now if another truck comes in off the road behind me, I won't be rude and stay there, I will have to commit to a lane, just using best judgement to see who will open up first.

Check out this winner, not getting fuel, parks in the fuel aisle and walks in for coffee.

The food thing happens all the time..

2 days ago. Swift was taking his 30 in the fuel island. Shoving food down his throat. Tieing up 1 out 4 islands.

In this area of 2 truckstops to fuel. NO ONE pulls forward after fueling. Not even the motorhomes.

Prescott is a whole other animal
Usually the line hugs the left edge, but sometimes one of those trucks are just parked
And then some jerk comes along and passes the line on the right
Loves needs to stop offering the biggest discount to megas at the worst truckstops.
I'll run out of fuel before I'll pull into Prescott.

Lucy in the Sky Thanks this.

So did you get fuel or just a coffee from McDonalds? Did you say anything to that fella about not pulling up? (I wouldn't have more trouble then it's worth)

Where is this place? I've been all over the Atlanta area and never seen one with 40 pumps. 10 yes. Not 40.

This is exactly what i do when all lanes are full. But normally I'm able to get an open lane by timing when and where i stop for fuel.

No I just got coffee then backed out of the fuel islands and got back to work.

I was gonna interview the guy on cam but not too sure on privacy laws and such.
