Update on this so called bad company. I'd like to start out saying as an O/O I run strictly RGN. Not saying you have to as an O/O I just prefer that. The OP said broker loads for a buck a mile. That's bs. I've yet to haul for less than $1.80 a mile to the truck. Whenever I've had a problem the company did what they could and helped me out. They even paid a shop bill and worked out a payment to get me running again. After 16 yrs on the road I'd have to say Simplex is the best company I've found.

 

Yeah just wait till they (Tennant Simplex) end up like that whole Adrian carriers, Road runner deal. Turned out Gary Adrian was over billing John Deere For years and sold company to Road Runner then they lost the Deere contract all kinds of lease drivers got screwed on that deal

 

Deb works or worked at Tennant, doing permits. Do I need to call her or her hubby to have them tell you that you are wrong for the time period I posted

 

Not necessary. There is currently no Deb here. There is no longer any Tennant. They are now Omni. Y'all keep doing whatever and I'll keep cashing checks here. Have a good one.

I've been there for past two years and has had no such problems.. I personally book my own freight . I'm not shaming another driver but if a company allows you to book your own freight then how can you be upset when you choose to haul their loads?
Here's my thing every company unless it is your own with your own authority and trailer, has it's good and bad . I haven't met a driver yet that doesn't have at least one complaint about any company.
