he did, they said .38 a mile and other things as well but was very vague about medical, dental and etc. Also about the trucks they only said they were 10 speeds with no tv, fridge, or microwave but they had the equipment for them. Although im not assuming you are trying to be rude, Lets not be rude please, i only wanted to know from other drivers who drive With Usa Truck about their experiences with them and any other information that they can give. But stay blessed though and May God protect you on the road!

No not trying top be rude however why would anyone accept a job. Before they have all the answers? Especially where there are thousands of company's that are more forth coming. Thats the part that makes no sense to me...

I'm assuming at least 50% of your pay will go towards medical and dental after the new year and then 30% will go towards taxes which leaves 20% of your earnings take home

medical insurance varies a lot from company to company and plans will vary too. As far as reviews about the company on the board, keep in mind that people don't post much about being content at their job, but people will bash when they are not...... When he is in orientation he will have time to review the plan(s) and can call to discuss it before signing on.... As for the truck he will be assigned, it should be in reasonable shape.... 10 speed is the norm since they have long warranty. Equipment for TV micro and fridge prolly means an inverter and tv mount. At .38 cents a mile he should do alright for pay... but peoples experiences will differ

I was with USA for a year and a half leaving July this year only because I wanted to pursue flatbed. They treated me well and did what they said they would. I had no issues with my pay, it was on time every time. The insurance was cheap, can't remember exact prices but I thing it was around $45/wk for me and my son(single + 1 dependent plan). The trucks are Cascadia and Prostar 10speeds and they recently bought a bunch of T680 autos. All trucks have some sort of inverter so a fridge, microwave or tv isn't an issue if you wanna put one in. Like any company with a large amount of drop and hook, some trailers will have been neglected and will need repair when you get to them but it wasn't a huge issue for me, maybe a minor repair (marker light/mudflat/flat tire) a couple times a month.

I got great miles and had an awesome driver manger but I'm also single and didn't require much hometime and ran for 4-6 weeks at a time. When I did want to get home they got me to San Antonio without issues. Like any company though, your success will be dependent upon getting a good driver manager, delivering loads on time, and communicating well.

.38 is too low, .46 and up is acceptable to work for

$1.00 per mile won't pay the bills @ 700 miles per week. Mileage pay depends on miles driven
And promises about minimum mileage per week are rarely given.
