So far this year and there is still two months to go I have managed to make YTD $62,000.00 and I have managed to pay $18,000 in taxes.
And have paid $4,000 in additional deductions.

this year I have contributed just a hair under $3,000k to my 401K and GFS has contributed $2424.00 to my 401K. Now I have company profit sharing which I am now eligible for so that's a bump in the right direction.

The hamburgers on that trailer are actually small bite sized hamburgers and in restaurant lingo are know as sliders.
See if you look those are three small burgers on the same plate there known as sliders. Your local sports bar may offer some type of slider product for consumption. There's a place near me known as the brew co that sells a small bucket full of mini cheese burgers.

See three small sandwiches on the same plate.
White Castle there burgers were considered sliders.

OK thanks. I thought it was some kind of new trailer technology or something...
FWIW, I just noticed there is a White Castle in Vegas now!

If your young have a very strong work ethic (don't mind working your butt off) IMHO it's a very good stable job. Just don't think you will be doing it forever you don't see many 60 year Olds slinging groceries.

    Mike2633 Thanks this.

Sounds to me that you are looking in the right general direction. But food service is not the only place you can work 5/2. Local pickup and delivery, or line haul at just about any freight LTL will likely work for you.
So will a whole menu of other driving jobs. Lots of places need a delivery driver. And the pay rate varies considerably, from minimum wage to high paying union jobs.
Of course it depends on where you live, and how far you're willing to commute.

Three rules for finding a good driving job. Location, location, location. Some will only hire if you have experience (FxF), but there is such a massive driver shortage right now, pretty much everyone else will consider you. We are entering the off season. If you can find something steady now, you should be set.

    Mike2633 Thanks this.

Two temp stops today put me a good 2 hours behind. Then went and gave blood platelets after that which is a real barrel of monkeys. Watched some of the Indians, but I've given up on them, they blew this one sky high. Game 7 here we come...
