Do you have a mechanical neck trl. 29 foot well or one of the 34 foot well, if 34 well it will have a flip axle on it
-
It's a mechanical with a 29ft well. flip neck.
-
Ok load it about 65" from the rear of the deck with the drive motors to the rear. Let us know how it weighs out.
VTech, Oxbow, Dye Guardian and 2 others Thank this. -
Yep what he said. The center turn signal is Not center of those trls for weight distribution
-
Usually about 1ft in front of turn signal seems to be center on these trailers. usually I'm right on the mark. I only missed it once in the last 4 months with a wheel loader. I mistook the cab for center on the unit instead of the pivot point. Just like the loader, I wasnt sure where cog is on the excavator. I'll use the info yall have given and let you know. ..thanks.

Carlisle around there has a scale too. I think it's like 10 bucks.

When driving up on the blocks to load on a rail, or over the risers at the front of the deck; as soon as the machine "tips" back to level, STOP!
Get out of the machine and mark the point directly above the front of the block or the transition from riser to deck.
THAT is the COG of the machine.
Basic physics, works every time.
General conditions apply;
Stick & bucket curled in
Boom relatively close to the position it will be transported in...
Having attachments and such "out of order" will of course affect the accuracy. -
Center of rotation ring is 1ft in front of turn signal. 15580, 54020, 56900, 126500. Not bad. She's between 78k-80k. Last time I weighed mt I was 48k. I need to do it again as I've added some gear.
