    As I was leaving Texas on my next run, I decided to stop by Collin Street Bakery just outside of Rockwall. There is a Valero next to it with truck parking.

    It looked as good as every other one I have been to.

    They have salads and sandwiches and all kinds of baked goodies.

    I decided to show everyone I can eat healthy so I got:

    A chicken salad sandwich on a fresh baked croissant

    And some fruit aka Cherry Ice Box cookies

    I also got some grains & fruit aka Oatmeal Raisin Cookies and some nuts aka Pecan Shortbread cookies!

    If you like baked goods find one in Texas and drop by.

    OK.... Did something out of character here....
    I am in Spiceland In. and instead of going to Montgomerys Steakhouse like I have done MANY times before......
    I went to 'Taste of India' Resturant at the Spiceland Truck Stop (Roady's) directly across the street from Montgomerys.
    I got the Chicken Tiki Marsalas, Jasmine Rice and garlic naan
    I really really like Indian food. This place is GOOD. Not the best.... But really good with truck parking. It has a full bar, liquor for sale by the bottle, beer to go and really good Indian Food....they have a buffet but it was not open on a Thursday night. Not sure if it's a lunch only or a weekend thing.....
    I would come here again in a minute.

    Ate tonight at the SKOTS tavern at the Petro in Albert Lea, MN on the corner of 90 and 35....
    Excellent bartender, excellent food, ALOT of parking

    Had the Black and Blue burger with bacon and raw onion. Endless fries....
    Very good!!

    Sitting At Montgomery's In Spiceland for the second tIme this week.

    No need to say I had a steak the first night :rolleyes:

    Tonight I had a chef salad and a pizza.

    I forgot to take a pic of the salad before I messed it up.

    The pizza is not even close to a NY or NJ pie, but is still good for a steak house. The salad was fresh and fantastic . As always the drinks are good and cold!
