My company, Chemoil Energy, does Frac and Rig Fuel. We hired a bunch of sales guys and have a huge upswing in work that looks like it's going to be steady in the long term.
We are hiring in 2 locations right now; our Midland Yard and Oklahoma City yard.
We have 2 main CDL positions: Transport Drivers & CDL Frac Fuelers

    1) Transport Driver
Drive an 18 wheeler tanker from the yard to a fuel terminal and then to a Frac site to unload to smaller straight tank trucks on site. Repeat as much as possible while staying compliant with hours of service.
Average about 60 hours a week, and you're home almost every day.

    2) CDL Frac Fueler
Work a 12 hour shift on an Oilfield Frac site fueling up all the equipment on location. Drive a Straight Tank Truck. In between fueling you use the "Off Duty At Well," HOS status and hang out until the next fueling.
Typically 80 - 100 hours a week, but you might be staying in hotels or company housing most nights.

Both positions are the same starting pay, $18/hr straight time. The Fueler positon does get a lot more hours than the Transport, but the Transport is home every night.

Our insurance company has some restrictions on who we can put behind the wheel while staying insured:
    • Age: 23-72
    • Experience: 2 years minimum
    • Can be military (driving) or CDL experience
    • Physicals: must be up to date
    Hazmat certification required
Oilfield Experience is a preferred, but not required
Mandatory Background check and drug test for all applicants

Feel free to give us a call at 405-605-5436!

Ok. I was working in the Victoria tx area hauling crude and chemicals. Live in Illinois at the moment. As you said would be working out of ok city? Also does it pay overtime after 40 or just straight time for the 60. Thanks

I called to question the straight time and was told that since they can send you to multiple states they legally do not have to pay overtime. BS if you ask me.

    Dharok and speedyk Thank this.

FLSA of 1938 or 33...don't remember which. Been used to exploit truckers and a few other groups forever.

Here's the catch on FLSA, it covers the mechanics too but they pay them OT. ( if allowed to work it ) Why? Because the mechanics wouldn't tolerate the BS. Think about that for a minute......

True enough many are paid flat rate, and many are held to 40......
