Thanks.... got to the hotel a bit late, the #### battery cable on my pickup decided to give me trouble...but finally got there, made final luggage preparations, "wheels up" in 8.5 hours.....

 

Well,,, so far so good.... enjoying my inflight wifi @ 30,000 feet.....

 

Now in Atlanta..... trading the old "flying tube" for something bigger... next stop Tokyo....

 

Figured I'd update...just getting woke up here in angeles city, so far not bad. Going to go celebrate my honey's birthday then head back to Manila tomorrow..then.shacking up at our favorite hotel near the airport and enjoying a visit to "mall of Asia".....unbelievable how much the malls here outshine those in the USA... clean and can be, a boatload of restaurants. The interesting thing is the service at fast food places, they actually bring the food to your table and REAL silverware!! Her favorite is the "Pizza Hut bistro".... makes the crummy Pizza Hut express in the truckstops look like a cheap hotdog stand...unfortunately i still have to stay away from fountain drinks and ice, the tap water here isn't too trustworthy and one nasty bug from it can ruin your whole vacation. Fortunately there is always bottles of sofa, iced tea& purified water available for me to guzzle. I'll try to get a pic up once I get back stateside and I have a chance to get my gear hauled back to the truck..
