Well I'm all scheduled for the 10 day refresher and then training+team dirving after. I've been told I should expect $500/week for phase 1 (training) and $550/week for phase 2 (team driving). I believe she said this takes about 90 days in all and I should expect no home time till phase 2, this will be cutting it close to a DR's appt which I need to go to or I might not be able to drive, but we will see what happens there.
I'm told I will be rooming with someone and a shuttle will take me form hotel to class and back (I'm heading to Atalanta GA from greyhound so no car.).

Paid $95 for a med card locally and got a 2 year.
Made 3 copies of it, orginal to leave at home, one for PENNDOT ,one for company and one for me to hold.
Picked up buss ticket and sechduled an uberX to take me to the buss station saturday morning. -
Been very busy But some QUICK updates.
Uber secdule does nothong and there was no car for me, had neighbor take me.
Refresher doesnt really exist, they just pass everyone pretty much and send you on your way
Hotel was single room, a lot of bugs and room serbice doesnt do much besides trash amd towels. Sheets are unwashed and full of hooker blood and semen so do npt use.
Waited 3 days from arival for hire call. Then waited 3 days to be assaigned to me and another 3 to be routed to me.
Also only food provided os breakfest from motel which is stale cereal and some doller store danishes and cheap coffee.
People without cdl go to better motel btw -
Got my 160 in and DM said he will route me for upgrade after we finish these two loads me have, although trainer has yet to do any of my road reviews yet but he tells me we will "brute force them" on the last day.
When it comes to the trainer, its someone with at least 6 months experience and CRE will run you as teams from day 1. As such expect your trainer to be sleeping whenever your,re driving on the interstate or highway outside major citys, althought CRE has a policy where they should be in the jump seat whwnwver in beavy traffic, exiting interstate etc.
They are not require to teach you any backing outside 5 "sessions".
If I pass my upgrade I go to phase two and team with a "phase two team lead" who is someone with 2-5 months experience(sincebwhen they get 6 months they automaticly become phase 1 trainers).
Miles have been very gokd but the only one making money is my trainer ($1800 gross vs my $600). -
