None here, we don't use 'em. Well, technically our Peoplenet device is the tablet, but they have them locked in their cradles in the trucks and we can't take them out.

Time and productivity would take on definitions not usually applied to employment.

Now if you're talking about those really nice hand trucks/dollies that you inherited, I'm saying you are doing okay, bro!

Spent 15 min waiting on mine to load this morning but if it goes out on the route or is acting funny I just fill out a hand receipt and move on it ain't got time to jack with that stupid thing.... but the good news is we are getting brand new ones by the end of the year (so we have been told).

It's funny you should mention hand held scanners. We just started using them recently to track all trucking shipments now. Now we're basically doing the job of what our expeditors normally do. It seems like a waste of money because all Parcels have tracking on them to begin with.

UPS Freight uses scanners too. They call them Diad Scanners. It scans all the Pro Numbers on the freight and it also communicates with dispatch as well, but it's old technology compared to today's scanners.

I spent 1/2 hour this morning with mine waiting for it to diddle around and bug out and I reset it twice and were held to that thing, because are whole day is recorded off of it. You guys at US do you have the goofy hand held printer set up? I had one of those at the beer company and I don't miss it.
