I told them I would not get into pissing contests with members. Do everyone a favor and read the law.
What do you think of P/FJ's new policy of removing handicapped truck parking?

So, at 22:00, the truck stop is full all except for the three handicapped spaces. A driver comes in with 10 minutes left on both his 11 and his 14. The "handicapped" driver who may not show up until the next day still has a higher priority then the driver who is there then and has an immediate need for a space to park?
RedRover, Bakari742, stayinback and 1 other person Thank this. -
I was under the impression that it could. If it was bad enough it or the medication could cause one to pass out. I stated earlier that I don't have a problem with the handicapped spots. I'm sure someone can pull van freight with a disability. I just know that the guy with a low boy and a pc360 tack hoe is in no way handicapped.

Dirt lots never had them. You've never heard a fuzz out of that.

I posted about this a few years back, wondering why there were handicapped spots and the responses were quite educational. Lot's of reasons someone able to do the job may have a real need for close parking.12 ga Thanks this. -
Aren't the "reserved" spots always the closest to the building? Certainly appears to be from what I've seen. A driver with an issue can always get on the app and reserve a premium spot...
