It's a series about a landlord and his tenants in Omaha.
You better have a strong stomach. -

I can't believe this is still an ongoing debate. If all governed truck drivers would just set their cruise at 2 or 3 mph below the governor, that would eliminate a lot of problems. Stay in the right lane, then when you roll up on the slower guy, you step on it and get around them, then resume your set speed.
Then diesel drinker gets the hammer lane all to himself and everyone's happy. Case closed.Roger McG, diesel drinker, JReding and 1 other person Thank this. -
Why do so many people think they can get ahead by rushing forward?

I think a little patience would have done the op a lot of good. What is the other 5 mph gonna gain him. Especially in heavy traffic like he described. He is an accident waiting to happen
spyder7723, tinytim, cnsper and 1 other person Thank this. -

Thanks for everyone's opinion.
By the way sorry for the really long "story" Didn't really realize how long my post was until I reread it earlier today. I'm somewhat OCD when it comes explaining things.
I am somewhat new to trucking 8 month into it....I know what I did was wrong, going in that prohibited lane, and I kinda got what I deserved,, I guess I do need to settle down a bit out their on the road. I'm a bit of risk taker when needed, but I usually take better calculated risks. I certainly don't drive crazy just for the hell of it. My wife often calls me "Poppy" when referring to my car driving. I like driving but in a leisurely way, but get me against the clock and the "Lion" comes out in me. I was kind of pressed for time, I needed to make my appt. time and not be late.
I really was kind of wondering what kind of guy I encountered who brake checked me not only in the prohibited lane but also in the center lane when I moved over. It was high traffic and he had to get himself over to the right lane and then make a risky move to slide in front of truck beside me in center lane, and hope I was still where I was and then move in front of me.. Like i said I witnessed a similar brake checking incident against another truck and that guy also followed that trucker over when he moved over.
This Brake checking, teaching a lesson, kind of action intrigues me in a way. Like I almost want to do the same if I encounter a situation that I feel would warrant it.
