Nah,it's all good. I am reading "How to quit Werner" thread. 21cpm! I got my CDL more or less same time that thread was started and got hired without any experience by ee company at 48 cpm and $20/stop.You guys are right, stick to those 21-31cpm jobs "with benefits".Less competition for me.

I myself have drove for 2 ee companies in Pennsylvania and im starting with Vlad tomorrow actually.

The 2 ee companies were pretty good. They treated me fair and the miles were definately there.

The first one i didnt have any breakdowns while there. he only owns 4 trucks but the 2nd something didn't feel right or i heard anything out of the ordinary he had me hit the TA or PETRO at the next location. He stayed on top of it.
Reason why i left that company was wife got really sick and no insurance and had to leave. Couldnt obtain insurance any other way. Too expensive.

    Company 2.
They were the complete opposite of company 1. Windshield got cracked very badly and instead of getting it fixed he had me run mainly at night so the weigh stations didnt see it. Took 3 weeks to fix. Trailer tires were pretty well worn and he said they were fine.

Fixed the windshield. 2 days later DOT inspection. Written warning for the trailer tires. Owner said just run that lane at night and go across another back highway to get around scale.

The next morning after he said that i showed up at office and quit. Not even an hour later i seen him in his pickup truck with 8 brandnew trailer tires in the back of it.

Jumped in wifes car to go to office cause i forgot to return fuel card and he was putting tires on trailer while the new 20something 22 maybe year old driver he just hired was getting his licenae copied and being told that the drig screen was not mandatory and soon as tires were done he was heading out.

I shook my head and kept walking out the door.

As for Vlad and brother, im writing this as i am getting ready to leave in my rental to head out to them. But since i first contacted them i gotta say he has been 100% right there with any queations and concerns i had and with all i had to do to get ready to go out there he was on top of it all and making sure i was ready. I never had anyone do that in my life of 20 1/2 years on the road. That spoke volumes to me personally.

But as you can see, there are good ee companies and bad. You just gotta go until you find out for yourself what some are like.

ON A VERY VERY FUNNY NOTE.

i was takin a ride on my harley the other day and thought id drive by company 1 and if owner was outside id stop and say hi. I got to his building only to see 6 of company 2s trucks there. Turns out they are now sharing the building together. I dont see that marriage lasting very long. Comapny 1 was real strict on maintenance and company 2 could really care less.

Company 1 is currently hiring out of the pocono allentown area and is advertising on craigslist if youre in the area and looking.

Hes the only one advertising 2016 kw amd wabush trailer at 42 cents per mile. He doesn't have the comapny name on the ad though....

    Just my 2.3 cents........

I worked for Vlad & Brothers. Stay far away!!! His payroll checks bounce and you'll get shorted every single week! He hires anybody and nobody stays!

I worked for them in 2017 for a minute. Saw them take a trailer loaded for the Army w/ a bolt seal on the doors. The mechanic torched the hinges off, the owner (Vlad) climbed inside, cut open a few boxes, got out, said something in Russian, the mechanic reattached the doors and the load must've gotten delivered. I knew right there it was time to find another job.

Looks like the defenders of said company are no longer around. Neither is Vlad evidently.
