As I said to someone else, the original point of my post was that information that I was given when I inquired was missing here and I conveyed it, nothing more...I'm not here to have a political or religious argument.

Truth be told, we thought they would be a good fit for us, I was unaware of their religious/political stances... until I spoke with a woman in the hiring offices in OKC who wouldn't even speak to me after she found out we weren't married.
We were happy with the dedicated we were on and liked the way the logistics were set up. Just couldn't swallow having to be married to be employed. -

@Bear135 Alright man, you have a good one too.
Always safe trips....just making my way back from Ohio, and taking another trl out in about 10 more hrs.Crusader66 Thanks this. -
Yes, a female/male codrivers DO have to be married.
I'm pretty sure a brother/sister arrangement is still fine, though. But, yes, you would have to show like a marriage license, from what I understand.
As far as HL not hiring gay people, or drivers? I have no idea about that....as I have never once been asked about my sexual orientation.
I'm a big 2nd Amendment supporter, and HL has a "no gun on trucks" policy.
Do I necessarily agree with that....since it is a "right"?
Nope, but as I've said before....HL can make policies how they see fit....as long as it doesn't infringe against Federal Laws. -
They only refused to pay for 2 types birth control pills. Those allowed the the egg to get fertilized(which based on there beliefs is the beginning of life) then
wouldn't allow the egg to attach to the uterine wall. All other birth control pills where covered. Other birth control pills prevent the egg to be fertilized. And yes those 2 they didn't want to pay for are used as plan b pills which induces abortion.
As for non married couples with all the lawsuits for sexual harassment going on I can see why they don't allow it.
On guns they run a lot states and cities that don't allow concealed carry and each has different laws on how to transport them.TROOPER to TRUCKER, xlsdraw and Crusader66 Thank this. -
It's their company so they should be able to handle it as they wish.
xlsdraw, HL Drvr, Crusader66 and 1 other person Thank this. -
