All the kohler's on skids that I've hauled had holes in the black frame for chains.

The reason I mentioned it, I was unloading next to a guy that strapped over 3 kohler generators .
They refused the load because he tweaked the cabinets with the straps.

I'll take a look tomorrow before I hit the road just to be sure but I couldn't see any chain holes. The place where I picked this one up from normally does van loads. This one was packaged as if it were going to be in a van. Normally when we pick them up they aren't wrapped like this one is.

I pulled all that plastic off this afternoon before leaving and found the chain points finally. Removed the straps and switched to chains. Not even the tiniest of scratches or bend in the cabinet. I was looking for them near the ends of the base. They were much closer to the middle than I thought. Couldn't see them with all that plastic on there.

The plastic was shredding anyways from the short drive back to my yard. It never would have made it all the way to Texas.

Fellas, reading the back and forth between Razororange and IH Truck Guy, I just have to say:

Glad there is still a brotherhood out here. People trying to help each other and remaining respectful in the process. Good on both of you. (Or all three of you. I see where you were headed with your question on the fork lift, KatMan.)

I was blessed to have a great driver take a punk snot nosed kid under his wing and teach him about life and trucking.

    RIP Burl Britt.
You are missed every day buddy.

Hey at least he took your advice and looked. Saves a damage claim.
Some would just shrug it off and mumble about some nosy driver trying to tell me how to do my job.
