It does cost money to jump ship. But if Mercer is as bad as he say's it is. He would have been money ahead to jump ship months ago. I assume he is waiting until March when the tags expire.
After all he's much smarter than we are.

Some people will die of thirst while floating in a lake.
Nevermind the koolaid some are straight up scotch but, either way, everybody will obviously go broke. Just thought, maybe it's not the system but another component?
TAHighway Sailor and spyder7723 Thank this. -
I switched from van to flatbed better choice
DragonTamerBrat Thanks this. -
I talked to a guy doing van at the fuel island at the J here in town a few days ago.
He had an almost new 386. Nice truck.
Said he made about $1.00/mile after all operating costs.
He's the first guy I've spoken to that I actually saw with a van.
Plethora of you flats out this way, very few vans.
He said the van is steady.
I only do van.
I considered Mercer but was concerned on the freight availability.
He made me feel better.
LandStar has that webinar where you can see their actual board, and there are a bazillion vans, so I know they have van freight.
If they really did pull that guys load and give it away, that is F/U though. -
I've said before it really sounds like he doesn't own the truck. He drives for a contractor. Or isn't even with mercer.earlybird1104 Thanks this.
