Where Are You Continues, Again.....

Ohhh... absolutely... I agree..
I have very low tolerance to winter and cold and snow and ice... It hurts my skinny bones...
And the weather here keeps changing... The wind keeps pushing the clouds...

After tire repair, found this GREAT spot and I decided to stay at this truck stop for the night...




Will pick up a load tomorrow morning about 35 miles from here... 1:30 hrs away considering traffic...

 

When I looked at the Airway bill I KNEW it would be rejected. And it was. That was either number 4 or 5.
Another driver (one of the family) will deal with it in the morning. It was supposed to be through raining today.
But tomorrow being Friday......

 

I had been out since the day after Christmas was just taking some time off.

 

Heading down into KC now to load some vans for Alabama.

 

Obey kids. I was summarily executed today. Gale said "last night was the last straw". I would imagine he talked with Claudia and they both talked to Jerry.
Apparently I should have called Jerry immediately after seeing the AWB that was wrong. Or absolutely kept my mouth zipped shut. I am unable to keep my mouth shut. That was probably the undoing. Oh goody I get to try and get another job.

Brought the wife to Guitar to see the Opry at the Ryman tonight
Had some Hattie B's Nashville Hot Chicken for dinner
Going to eat breakfast at the Loveless Cafe before we head back to the Cumberland Plateau in the morning

I'm considering calling Jerry tomorrow and asking for another chance. Immediately upon seeing an AWB that experience tells me won't fly I call and he gets the agent working on it. And I shall attempt to keep my mouth mostly shut. Because it really was a nice gig.
